Auditions |
Auditions for positions in the all-volunteer Whatcom Symphony Orchestra are held at the end of August each year. Auditions for the 2010-2011 season, which features guest artists Garrick Ohlsson, Jennifer Koh, Pearl Django and more, were held on August 30 and 31, 2010 at the Garden Street Methodist Church.
Audition excerpts can be downloaded on the opposite side of this page.
There are currently positions open in the following sections: Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass.
Winds, Brass, and Percussion players may audition for placement on the sub list.
Even though auditions are over for this season, we occasionally have need for extra players for some concerts.
